Associate Members

There are now many [ex-] players in the Cardiff area who, although they no longer play league table tennis, still take part in coaching, organising and practice sessions. (or indeed would like to)

Such players typically (as they don't play league) don't pay subscriptions to the league and as a result, can be less in-touch with league development and table tennis in general.

It has been proposed that we have an "associate member" scheme whereby players could pay a reduced subscription to be part of the league. This would entitle them to play in the Cardiff closed, take part in league meetings and hopefully encourage them to continue to take an interest in table tennis. (and of course help raise funds for the league)

As they wouldn't be playing any league matches of any kind, then the general fees could be greatly reduced and the TTAW membership fees would not apply.
