End of season report on Cardiff League's matches

Finally, here is the final update for the 2010-11 season.
 
In the WIS division, it's well done to Barry Ath T&TT A (Owen Clutterbuck, John Jones, Ian Jeanes and Andy Smith) winning the WIS Division title for the first time by just 6 points over last season's runners-up FTF Blaengar.
 
Fairwater Cons A win Division 1 for the third time (since the start of the WIS Division) by a good 19 points over big rivals Duffies A.  Fairwater Cons A (Eric Turner, George Evans, Tony Collins, Frank Hillier, Mike Benson and Ray Goulding) are unbeaten in the league for the last 2 seasons, only losing one game in their previous season. Fantastic effort from all at 'The Cons'.
 
Congratulations to Mackintosh E for winning the Division 2 title.  The team (Tom Kwok, Crystal Tseng, Graham Jones, Bhikhu Patel, Graham Hayes and David Fung) beat off the challenge from Old St Mellons B and Rhiwbina C to take the title by a clear 43 points.
 
Finally, well done to GE Star B for winning the Division 3 title. GE Star B (Nick Grba, Bill Berry, Trevor Hughes, Anthony King and Neil Lock) have done an excellent job by winning the division over Fairwater Cons F by 19 points, if you consider that they finished 7th in the same division last season.  Well done to everyone!
 
That's it for another season, thank you to everyone for your support throughout the past 25 weeks, it has been a lot of fun sifting through the score cards to see the latest shock results and keeping an eye on who's doing well in the league.
Don't forget the Presentation is on May 3rd (it will be at Fairwater Conservative Club) so please show your appreciation for the league and attend this fun social event.
