The League organises table tennis for all ages and abilities. It provides both competitive league table tennis, cup competitions, tournaments and practice facilities.  

In the 2010/2011 season it had four divisions each comprising of ten teams playing twice the other nine teams in its division during the October to March season.

Twenty four league teams play their home matches in small clubs mainly in the Cardiff area.  Sixteen teams play their home matches in the Welsh Institute of Sport, Sophia Gardens on Monday and Thursday evenings.

The League runs a Community Club from 7pm until 9pm every Friday evening in the Upper Hall of the Welsh Institute of Sport. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome. Young people are particularly welcome and play both singles and in a team competition. Bats and balls are provided. Free coaching is usually available. There is no joining fee but a subscription of £2 per evening is payable.
